Great job on it, the bottom of those cheeks bother me though. Remove that darkest shade or something because at the moment, it looks like hs has an askewed mustache. As for those black lines, try some AA.
I'm unsure about the BG and top-bottom cropping adding anything to this. It might just take away?

Har, har, lookin' much better, imho, than the previous Captain Pinkface. That "fat" shading style is always a lovely choice. My only issue is that the lines/wrinkles coming from his cheeks seem to be cutting it in twos. Also kinda makes it look like face paint. Other than that and the obvious mirroring, this is ASSome. Great job.
