Experimenting with tall rather than wide pixels.  Inspired by the sometimes desolate rural landscape.

great! simply great!

Niiice. I really love how the ground looks. The eyes look a little weird to me though. A bit too much contrast between them and the body around the edges, I think. (I making any sense...?)

Dakael, what do you know. This pic rocks, good use of colors and love the horiz pixels which are hard to do.

Native Amiga resolution is 640x256 [PAL], not the pc vertical 240, blah! ;)
Picture is nice, but doesn't kick ass at all... 3/5

Womped (Level 3 Hatchet Man) at 10/1/2007 12:30:09 AM
FUCK! AWESOME.
It really is. Nice idea, what with the tall pixels.

Beautiful piece. Bonus points because I live in Mississauga. :P

Oh great to see the taller than wide pixels come back. I used to love them quite much on my Amiga. (640x240)

This is one of those pieces that would look perfect blown up hugely on some big white wall in a modern-esque art museum. Lovely!

Man, I love this. The simple perspective and background make this scene so calm, and charming. However, I think the black on the giant may by too intense, when the distance is taken into consideration. I'd try blending in some of the sky's colors, as well as the lighter browns, to show distance and detail a little better( if it fits any limitations, of course...). But yeah, this is good.

Neat idea, I may have to try it. This piece is really nice.

Fuck, this owns! I would perhaps have spent 1 or 2 extra colours on the eyes to draw extra focus. Like yellow or something.
