Here is another sprite from the series of WWII tank sprites I am designing for my upcoming game. Well... at least I am designing... We will see if it actually becomes a game. :)
I usually do not share any of my personal project. But, since WWII tanks are more of a historical designs, I thought I might share these with you.
Here is a crazy super tank which was a variation of Maus. Dubbed E-100. It never reached an actual production. The prototype only had the chassis of the body finished. the design is based on the sketch of the design. So any details are pure speculations.
Yes, it has almost the identical turret as the Maus.

Ever thought of making an E-1000 Landkruzer? Now THAT is a Super-heavy tank. It carried twin Battleship cannons. Thats Battleship armament on a Tank...anyway...all your tanks are really good, look Advance Wars style, which is where I assume you got the inspiration to make tanks like that?
I am a noob. These are first pixel "character" arts I've done. Well, I've done one pixel character before. But, these are pretty much my first try into making pixel based designs.
I hear you about the scratches. I originally wanted no scratches. Just cartoony cel shading surface look. But, the "super tank" category entries became so huge that a lot of big surfaces made the tanks look too boring. And because rest of the coloring method is in flat shading type, more texture-y scratches, dents or cracks just distracted rather than helping. Probably more to do with my nOOb-ness.
Your tanks are great. One thing i wanted to point out though was that the scratches you've added are very .. well, n00by. They don't suit the rest of the sprite because they seem so randomly stuck on. You should make the scratches form from large dents or cracks in the seams of the metal, perhaps add some rough patches with dithering etc. Just the dark lines with lighter lines next to them don't work for me. Keep it up!
