Started out as a pixel-doodle. Turned into something I'm actually pretty happy with. Pictures is of a creature/race from a gameworld I'm developing and never plan to do anything with (other than make art pertaining to it).
I don't really know WHERE it's supposed to be standing. A crystal pillar in the middle of nowhere, I guess. What it plans to attack I do not know. Topic for another piece, perhaps?
The actual pixel art has 14 colors. The preview has 15, due to the black border.
Edit: Ugh! Reducing to a gif screwed the colors all up. Should be all fixed now.
Edit 2: Changed the feet a bit. Better? Worse?

I know what you mean. I tried to do a side view with the toes kind of curled under. Not sure how else I'd draw it.
Suggestions are welcome if you've got a good idea on how to fix it. In any case, thanks for the comment =D
Edit: Well, among other things (widening the crystaline platform and all that) I tried repositioning the left foot. It looks a bit more like a foot, and a bit less like an ambiguous hunk of flesh.
