I was pretty floored that the first comment I received on pixeljoint came alongside this avatar which I recognised straight away. Keep using it--it's part of internet history! Great use of colour, bad-ass subject, and the black really evokes the comic book feeling.
Admire yer stuff!
Wonderful colours, and such amazing detail! Everything just flows together really well in this piece, nice work!
I really love the colours in this, and I can also relate to the inconveniance of avatar sizes varying from site to site xP
sweet, at first i thought that was like that power rangers robot lol
Heh, it's bad enough that I had to crop this one for use on Deviantart cos they only allow 50x50 instead of 64x64. I'm not sure I will do a new one. I don't pixel all that much at all these days and I'm still fairly fond of this one (and it is of the character who's name I use anyways). Cheers again for the nice comments.
Just don't design yer new one at 100x100, then have to create a smaller version, when you're unable to set it as your avatar. Whoops.
Thanks. Hm, Now you've brought me to this page again and I see it's from 2007 I start to wonder if I've had it too long. I use it nearly every site I'm on or have been on since.
This is still one my favorite avatars on the site. Such pixel prowess. mm
Anything that is old-school transformers gets the thumbs up from me.
Heh. Thanks for that. "internet history", maybe. I have gotten so used to this avatar that I'm not sure I could ever come up with a new one I'd be happy with. Perhaps I'll have it til the day I die. Welcome to Pixel Joint by the way. Those barbarians of yours are also bad-ass. :)
