This was probably one of my favorite pixels to work on. Took me maybe two or three days to start and finish. I entered it into a competition on another site and I actually won and shocked me, lol. Well, anyways, rate/hate and please CC, I need all the help I can get for further pixels.

i am very impressed, although the parm tree shading isnt right...but the sea looks wonderful. you've clearly thought this one through.

You could also work on that transition to the blue, it's a bit rough.

Thanks everyone, I haven't worked on this for a while so hopefully with the advice I can fix it up some. And about the different styles, I don't have a particular style to my pixels, I just do what I think looks alright, lol. I've been trying to cut back on using so many colors, but my effort is in vein since I'm still using so many. Thanks again for the advice, I really appreciate it. :)

I agree. There's a different style for everything. The palm's shadow isn't good either. There's none on the sand and the one in the water is bad.

I think its the shadow from the palm, but without the trunk shadow it does look like an oil-spill, lol. I would have liked to see some of the 2 blues and and the 3 greens used to light the palm just enough to cast a hue, but leaving it in silhouette. The main crit is some color waste going on. Still a lovely scene and congrats on your win : )

The scene is great, overall crit is that everything is following different styles. The reflection on the water is very solid where the water itself isn't, the sand/tree/etc.. is dithered along with the sky and some of the sun, but the mountains and clouds aren't. I think all this really needs is some finishing work and you'll be done. Looks great so far!
