Basically I like this difficulty selection menu. But you should put some more variation into the three guys. Maybe give the "hard" guy some muscles or a more dynamic pose. Maybe different colours for their shirts?

I would suggest greater variation in the difficulty avatars. They seem too similar at the moment.
Beef up the hard guy.
Make use of their faces, and put an expression of fear on the easy guy.
That kind of thing.

Alright, I don't mean to be a downer, but there is alot you can do to improve this.

First off, alot of this is pillow shaded (that's bad).

Second, the feet don't really look like feet rather than strange shapes.

Finally, some of the letters are strange looking. The "Y" in difficulty looks wierd, the "T"s base is too skinny for my liking, the "D"s in medium and hard look warped,and the "R" in hard looks like the A before it with a slight change.

I don't mean to discourage you from pixeling, I simply just want you to get better and succeed. Keep up the good work!

EDIT: OPS. Got so carried away I forgot to tell you how great that moon is.
