First real piece of pixel work. Still practicing but I think imma getting the hang of it. This is what you get when you cross over from traditional art to digital.

That's a nice pic (is it a portrait of someone?) It's a very crisp photorealistic picture, butI think that it my benefit from some smoothing out (maybe using AA?). I like the highlights on the face :)
The shading on the head and forehead look somewhat unnatural. The shadow on the neck seems to cast strongly toward screen right yet shading suggests a lightsource casting near directly into the screen. Finally if you have used a reference you should post a link to to it so viewers can judge how well you have captured the ref, how imaginatively you have used it, etc.
