Rushed this fella. About 2 days on and off, and it was pretty damn hard. I miscalculated the number of frames it would take to fit the background with the sprite(They were animated separately), so you might spot a small glitch in the anim. Any hoo, great practice for animating I must say... Had a little bit of inspiration from this piece at Dev(il)Art btw... update Apparently, I wasn't following the rules, primarily the 16 color limitation. Mine previously had 19. However, I've stripped it down to 16 now, though it's hard to see which I got rid of. FAIR IS FAIR....

The motion is really [really] good! The only thing that distracted me (just slightly mind you) was the gradient in the background doesn't move at all and it just stood out. Just a nit-pick though!

omg, did you all know if you click the animation Dr.Zool's zoom tool will let you pause an animation and go frame by frame, zoomed!!!
This here is a fine example of that tool paying off.
