Minor clean up edit now that challenge is over.

Very cool idea. Darkening the background helped alot, but I still think you could brighten up the monster just a little. And love the preview by the way:)

I tried darkening the background by removing the light blue and pushing the rest downward a little.
Hope its more legible now.

Not bad. But looks like everyone already said it, it's a little hard to see the demon/creature.

With 8 colors, it looks amazing. But it's sort of hard to point out the monster since it blends in so much with the background. The monster needs more contrast, maybe a lighter color of purple so it doesn't look like it's blending into the background as much.

Earlier picture (as seen in challenge thread) was much better. Why? Because of the contrast - monster vs background. Now it's just ok. How it was earlier - that was perfect.

It looks really nice but like Malor said, somewhat hard to see parts.
