Mac 11 burst :: Pixel Art Detail

its a mac 11, originated for the American army special ops use, however its rate of fire was too high for it to be much use to them, it was wasteful for their purposes. however all of the drug lords and gangs found the rate of fire very effective for their uses and the gun has been adopted into their armories, under the nickname of 'the spray and pray' due to its inaccuracy and horrific rate of fire.

in my image you will probably notice the large muzzle flash before the actually gun itself. there is less focus on the gun itself, i don't know if anyone has heard of the phrase, "guns don't kill people, bullets do" that is what my image is based on. the bullets and the power they have is the main focus of the image, without that the gun would be seen as just another lump of metal, while useful in close combat it would have less power and people would fear it far less than the authority it reins with in todays modern society.

also another large part of my image is the text 'brap' although often jokingly used in the 'wanna be gangster' and chav circles it does have a very real basis. meant to replicate the sound of gunfire, it strikes fear in the hearts of many people. OK thats a lie. but with circles such as i have mentioned glamorizing the use of guns, they have become a more desirable object. while rappers and the such would carry them for their protection the followers and 'wanna-be's' see them as objects to have and will often be careless with them. this is also making the gun a more feared object, and it divides the society we live in.
