I based this character on one I've seen in graffiti round the railways in Brisbane, and I don't know exactly who tagged it, but I kinda adapted it and this was the end result. Feel free to crit...

Yes, more like that looks nicer. You may also want to check out, can't remember who came up with it now :/, a technique called vecxels. pixels mixes with vector art look.

One thing you really need to focus is on line quality. As I see it its your main hurdle for now.

I agree but the character works over saturated. This in cell shading style would look awesome.
