A C64 version of Wolverine's 'Amstrad CPC Shooter Mock Up'. Wolverine kindly let me do the c64 version of his masterpiece. I tried to recreate it at faithful as I could (with a few of my own solutions) but the limits of the c64 really get in the way of getting the colorful look of the original.
Techie-stuff: - Main bullets drawn as 'character-gfx' (as widely used in the day). This includes the beam-weapon as well. - This shot shouldn't have any glitches due to sprite multiplexing. But add 2 or more enemies in there in the middle and glitches would appear. - Separated the score/beam bars for each of the players to be able to change the color of the font. - And no, the sky-fade couldn't have been done by changing bkg-color for each line. (Not without extensive glitches). - Sprites had a res of 24x21, hence the slightly cut off and smaller sprites
Had much fun doing this, but it doesn't show, does it? And, thanks Wolverine!

Just noticed that the 'cyan' color on the taller buildings isn't possible where they are... The ones on the top of those buildings are ok, but not the ones below. Was tired yesterday, probably.
