Just added some shading and texture and shizz. Also changed the leaf to something ever so slightly more pumpkinesque. I didn't think it should replace the older one, since that one has a charm of its own i think, with the style. Anyway, hope you like it. I'm tired now, it's 4am! D: Updated. Thanks to Scruffs for the awesome edit. Not sure if the detailed version really works with the inner glow. [Update: 05/12/08 - fixed palette, AA'd lacking frames.]

May I use* this pumpkin to spruce up my Minecraft texture pack for Halloween?

Although converting it to a Minecraft animationed texture would be awesome, I will probably just use a still image of the derpy pumpkin face and another of the spooky face (while dark) and use them as flower replacements or perhaps add them to a hay bale or some such thing. Thus adding some pumpkin elements into the game for Halloween/Autumn. Minecraft texture packs are horrible for this sort of thing because all the texture sharing sites are designed around full-pack-sharing, so I cannot just search for "pumpkin" (the thing I want) or "flowers" (things I want to replace) and browse all the textures people have created. Nor can I even preview their images (they usually just provide a screenshot or two that shows a few things) Instead, I'd have to download a bunch of random packs, expand them, and manually search for pumpkins with my eyeballs. :( There are about 1,000+ images in just one full pack.

I don't know why they don' t just have a system like free icon sharing sites use where you can search/download whole packs AND individual images. Too bad pixel or icon artists aren't really into Minecraft :/

*(Personal use, but shared with friends, and obviously no-money gain. I am not even a texture pack artist. I just mix'n'match for my own preference.)

OH SNAP! This version is so delicious. I love the colours you picked for this, and the subtle dithering where there's shine is great. It gives a nice texture to the pumpkin. And the animation is totally awesome of course! D'aww, it looks so cute and retarded at first.

While i love the pixel tech, animation, and overall style of this, i think it looks flat.
I'm sure the simplistic style is intentional because you know how to render things better than me but i made an edit anyway :F good job as always dude.
