yes, 160 colors is rediculous for a small sprite like this.  try limiting yourself to a smaller amount.

indeed. you have to kept an eye on those colors. you ve wasted at least 40 colors on these, where i only see 3 that can be useful... try to not pick a new color for eeach new shade. believe me, you don't need all those colors.

anyway, i could believ you've used 160 colors on this little animation...
