Isn't this shape actually possible by twisting the ring a certain way, essentially making one in which you can trace your finger over every surface without having to pick it up? Or is that another shape I'm thinking of. (Mobius ring, perhaps)
Very cool pixel. Simplistic, but it works. Nice shading, and good job not over-dithering.
