Well I know this doesn't look too good, but I'm posting this because the way it started was funny. I was drawing a zombie and my hand slipped and drew the shape of the mouth. So I decided to continue this way. After that I did some experiments with colors, which did not turn out too well as you can see...

is good to experiment, as long as you can get a lesson or two from these. in this case, however... the eye seems overdithered, and where the upper part of the image seems too detailed, the lower part is the oposite. the AA your tried on the face's lines looks out of place,not to mention the careless aspect of the lineart in general, wich, at least in this case in particular, doesn look good for me, specially in the top of the hat.
now, while this is not that bad, it isn't that good. i would take this, refine these bits mentioned.
on a side note, i thought this was some kind of fan-art of doomcreator0 :P
