Not so long ago i've wanted to rise my pixelart skill a bit. Sooo, I took one of the Niklas Jansson characters
as a base and created a character.
At the moment I need help with his folds
Don't know why, but everytime i try to paint folds they don't look properly :(

Hehe, familar faces.=) Good looking dude, man. The only crit i can offer - elbow on a shaded side shouldn't be in same bright value as the lighted one - it makes him look like he puts his both elbows forward. Other then that - great work.=)
The base of the folds in your WIP are better. The first one you used just needs the same highlights as you have put on the elbow. Your highlights are great! I like the way you have put an expression in its eyes!
