This piece of art is certainly a winner ;p I love the design and pallet. It might have a few problems that you've probably already fixed in your revision but it's certainly the best entry to the competition i've seen yet ^^

I would shade a bat behind his head, wich is not so critical, perhaps.

yeah there are a few issues that i didn't catch (bit of a premature submission perhaps), you can see changes at wayofthepixel.net and i'll up-load the more recent final once judging is complete.

The outer aa looks a tad odd in some places when viewed on a dark background, but the colour usage and detail just amaze me...

this is quite a cool piece, it looks nice and is ofcorse well made and well thought out. not a strict following of the rules, but awsome none the less.
