I think the robe has too much contrast, which makes the mushroom and the body look like two images pasted together. Although I do really like the pose and the fact that you used a food that most wouldn't think of.

Nice stance! The only crit is that the elbow looks very round and that maybe he's torso could lean a little forward. I like the colours you chose and I also get the joke! 
(even though mushroom is a fungus and not fruit or veg..)

Great picture. However, the head was supposed to be a fruit or a vegetable, and a mushroom is neither.

No reference used besides a random picture on google or some other image search (which I can't find at the moment) to get a basic idea of how the clothes would look. I also briefly looked at a picture of a portobello mushroom. To state it concisely: there was no direct referencing for shapes/figures.I could probably try adding a highlight or something to the swords to make them more noticeable.

Did you use a reference for this?The front foot looks a bit large. The hands and arms are good
but it is a little strange at the moment. It looks like he is
getting something out of his clothes. Not sure how to fix it ....
Maybe a shadow on the floor?
