Now that It wasn't accepted, I can tell you that the AA was to make it look smooth, since I had no dithering, because of the small sprite. I tried the fringe on the white mage, but it didn't turn out good.

I realize in some of the games you had 3 characters at one time, but the fact you said your ref was from FF1 kind of gives the impression of it being from well.... FF1....

Anyways, the in between colors at an attempt to AA just don't seem to fit with such a simple sprite. Also, google search for some rocks and use it as a ref to make the walls, floors, ect. And now one last nitpick.... White Mage has red fringe stuff on her robes.


Edit- I think what Shawn was meaning is the enemy looks like cap'n crunch.

In some games, you had three at times, when some members needed to leave your party for a short time.

As far as I knew, in FF1 your party consisted of 4 members.

Why?

those background tiles killed anything good on this piece.
