I like the colours you used to get the wood texture across I think a little more shadow on the tablecloth falling over the edge of the table would help convey the shape.
Yes the way it turned out is pretty much exactly how I wanted it.
The reason I didn't add a floor was just because I wanted to show the furniture and not a floor.
sorry I take it back...it did seem like the burn tool or something similar in photoshop was used...but I do agree with Surt...those chairs look like they are serrated...is this intentional??
Also you probably should get rid of the white BG and maybe have some kind of floor in those tiles under the table
