Aha! I've seen the reference pic now. Your head there is slightly tilted and the hair on this portrait suggests its not. This could also be emphasised with the shading of the left shoulder pad.

I've discovered something interesting about this piece, the two - top and bottom - halves look better separated then put together.

After seeing the ref I wanted to make an edit, but got carried away. Well, actually I did made an edit (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/pembroke/pixeljoint/opacus_portrait.gif) but don't think it will help anyway.

Thanks for pointing it out. Well, I tried to keep the perspective of my photo a bit, that's why the one eye is lower then the other. Futhermore I agree, thanks for the critique.

Nice piece. The eye and hair-at-forehead outlines seem a bit hard to me. Your left eye is a bit lower than the right. There seem to be some perpective issues too. I like how you shaded the jaw and lips though. Good work!

Where's the power pack? And a space marine captain with hair is rare - besides the hairy folk (SW).

I'll fix something up. But I don't think I have a complete Wip (As in only lines, then colours, shades, detail.)
