My art teacher got us into Artist Trading Cards, so I decided to pixelart a few. P:
I know there are a lot of bad things about this, especially with the fins and background (which I totally half-assed), but I think it came out okay for my first large piece in a while.
1st in the Zodiac series I'm doing.

This is why I'm terrible with bigger pieces.
Is there any way I can change that? Should I texture some on the shading, or pixel scales?

This piece shows no refinement at the pixel level.  I'd call it a clean looking oekaki.

C'mon, don't be lazy. Fix/work the type and refine the lineart a bit.
