its cool but he needs to swing like at least 2 or 3 times with his wings to fly up like that, thats why it looks wierd.

If you are going to have text in a pixel piece, it should be PA (pixel art) -- hand made -- rather than machine rendered which is NPA (non pixel art).

Easiest solution would be to remove the text as it is ugly and unnecessary.
