i agree with bob, the preview picture is not very good. i just clicked it out of boredom, not of interest. but the detail work is great.

Ugh! I didn't know the detailed file was so great! The preview doesn't do this justice, as this deserves more attention...

Beautiful, though I couldn't agree more with Kryppers, the paper really needs a shadow.

That's a great piece, the colours fit the idea wonderfully.. there're a few things I'd fix though:

The leg stretching back seems a bit out of shape, I get the impression the leg would be more hidden. Also to fit the presentation style.. I'd make the shadow of the pencil the same length of the pencil (shorten the pencil a bit if you don't want the piece any bigger) and give the paper a shadow too. maybe replace the blacklining and shadow colour with the darkest colour you've got there..  the blacklined curve where the paper curls looks like it needs fixing too.

Preview kind of tricked me, this is amazing. 

This is nice. I really like the use of solid colors here, and the color choices.

While I'm never happy to see people do anime / manga / whatever single pictures are called, if they are not going for some project, I have to admit you have done great job with this. This isn't totally anime which is good, but has a resemblance to it and "anime" was my immediate thought when I saw this. After a closer look this has more originality than the majority of anime pieces I have seen. I hope you will continue submitting more pixels as good as this.
