NotSure, gif is the only animated format that PJ supports so not giving marks on the basis of using that format seems patently silly.

This is excellent work. The Santa is especially well animated. I would have given you full marks if it had not been a gif.

I hope you know how animgif compresses animations. Such a large piece that has movement in (or close to) the bottom right loses a lot of the compression. If you chose a format that had delta compression instead, then it should have resulted in a smaller animation file.

The preview doesn't do this piece justice. This is simply amazing.

cheers guys, to be honest with this amount of animation on an animated gif was really doing my head in as I did it all seperately and then tried to peice together the anims with new stuff and bits I'd already done, meaning things like santas coat got missed.

Adorable in so many ways... especially love the little dog and penguin

Very pretty as ever.

The hem of santa's dress doesn't deform which makes the dress stretch as he leans back.
The glow on the floor and the glow on the edges of the fireplace seem disjointed.
The red of santa's hat has a grey outline, though the red of his dress doesn't. Adding it to the dress may help separate it from the similarly coloured carpet.

Is santa blowing kisses or panting?
