Well, like I said, it's kinda old.

I really have no intentions on fixing it, but you could if you wish. Maybe you could inspire me. ^^

You don't need a lot of shades for a shiny effect. Just the opposite- you need a lot of contrast.

The shading looks like paper and doesn't make much sense. I could make an edit if you'd like me to show you how I would render this.

I like the design though. Very intricate.
