Nice scene and concept.
Dither on beam of light does not transition smoothly.
Some dither on the path would be nice to reduce the banding.

Could definitly be touched up in a few places - but it is rather awesome.

could use AA. You can use the darker reds to AA the yellow.

And I think you should try a different style of dithering. something smoother than just 50-50.
