The building almost seems like it doesn't fit...but yeah, this is just a little snippet of a bigger cityscape I'm working on.

The building definately stands out over the background but that would be perfect for a side-scroller, as an object you can jump on to. I'm going for 7/7 just for the brick wall and the colour palette.

Really cool, too bad front building has different perspective than the bg... In real life it can look like that but as ilkke said wouldnt look wrong if you can see the ground.

I see ikke. I didn't think the rooftops of buildings so tall and far away would be visible. I'll put some ground back there though. Thanks for the comments.

Very charming.
The rooftop is not broken tho, since it's consistent with the rest of the building and the wall and street. The broken parts are the trees and the fact that no ground is visible beyond the wall.

Aside from the low flying cloud and obvious perspective issues, I like the color choice and how you did the sky/far off buildings. Sky looks a lot like Mykola's style.

This looks simply great. But the roof of that building makes no sense since you can see it from the top, but the buildings in the background have the roofs at eye level. Looking at this is giving me spacial distortions.

Also the cat seems a bit odd (not really sure what it is). But overall this is great.

Great colours.

Unless the roof of the near building takes part in the game play I'd suggest you lower the viewing angle considerably. That could help blend between the viewing angle of the fore ground and that of the background.
