Thanks for the c&c... I'll keep it in mind. ;) I've tried to work with a different palette (ie: less colors like ptoing did) but I haven't yet figured out how to make my own palette (that doesn't look like 16 colors of poop). So for now, I'm calling it finished.
I feel rather disappointed in myself over the lack of cell shading, because that's what I was originally going for. But since it's such a new concept for me I couldn't make it look right and just kept adding colors/shading and dithered the heck out of it. ;) I'm going to keep practicing though.
Very nice but colouring is quite simplistic as the colour count indicates. You should give more consideration to helm's 16 colour edit and use hue convergence to better tie it together colour wise. Skin shadows could probably do to be darkened a little. Edge of skirt against crate could do with some AA.
Althougth i would use a cell shading couloring for pieces like this one, i haqve to admit you've made an exelent work with tha dithering. even considering that the colors count raises above the 58 colors...
I love this pieces, especially how her bangs fold up - the shine is very appealing in some way. I also think the shading on the wings is very well done. My biggest suggestion would be to color the black outline - it seems especially glaring and out of place on her white socks.
