Damn... that is tiny. Couldn't tell what it was at first, but it looks sweet once it snapped in my head.

Heh, very cute. I do like it alot. The life bar is not in the right place. It shouldn't be in that corner at all. If an enemy comes through there, it would get very distracting to the player. I suggest maybe taking out a row of 2 pixels from the bottom and making the bottom row the life bar, the second row being simply a seperator?
