She was supposed to be. (Does it look that androgynous? Oops) But now that I think about it, it would be a very strange thing to do...

Does it look out of place though/nonsensical?

Very good :D and also a nice palette, but the frames where her hand is down it looks like he/she is tilting her head towards us...
