A few hours in MS Paint. I've been feeling pretty inspired by the whole steampunk motif lately (especially having recently gone to see The Golden Compass), so I thought I would try to get something down, since I haven't pixelled in a while. The machine itself isn't supposed to make sense; it's just some kind of crazy golden contraption. Comments and critique are always welcome!

the pipe is full of dots and it makes it look ugly.

Thanks for your comments. What, specifically, bothers you about the pipes? I intended them to have a kind of beaten-metal look, rather than the ground metal of the orb and gears.

I like those lines all over the work. The pipe ruins the pic. I like it but not enough good to fav.
