Looks good. Only it's an interesting style, but the giant building in the background seems to slant a bit too much. (The left side with two long windows) Or maybe it's just me.

I think I feel what you're about - I'll play with pallete in the future, but there's a problem - there's many blueish colors in the bgrnd, and more blueish on platforms would bury them and they would not stand out (they're on first plane).
Thanks! You mean the blue back or the whole back with trees, platforms and such? Characters have black outline, while background not - it was made to make them stand out.
Really nice. Style of the chicky sprite is spot on. I think a less extreme angle for the backdrop would serve better, 2:1 or 3:1 and you could keep the same feel without it being so severe and unnaturalistic. Everything is cartoony colourful bar the grey metallic platforms and boxes, so they look a little out of place. If you added a subtle touch of colour to the greys it should help them fit in.
I think that the background and characters are made in different styles. I like the colors) but you should difine to yourself in what style all work will be done
Aha, thanx, got it! Although I'm fine with 45 degree buildings, your comment is second with this issue (I shown pic to one person over e-mail), so it is interesting, how people feel about this perspective.
The characters are really great, nice and simplistic... the buildings dont go well with that... mayb they should also have that style... at least not 3D like they are now...
