Yes I made the eyes big on purpose - I remember someone giving me crits on that, but... I wanted them big.
This is REALLY old. About a year now, I have no idea why I never submitted it. I probably won't ever go back to fix things, so... any crits I'll just have to keep in mind for next time. Thanks.
I agree, ilkke, the flower and the little... shoulder thing are just sort of there and don't do much for the composition. I really should've moved up the flower closer to the nose, since I had to keep it 100x100. Well I'll be sure to focus more on the composition as a whole, rather than just the dithering next time XD Thanks
m00 - by 'matter of resemblance' do you mean that she does or does not look like the photo? Because I spent forever trying to tweak the subtle shapes and things to have a good likeness, but I'm still not sure if I succeeded. And thanks, the hair was my favorite part to do!
If I look at your PJ gallery and your website, this is by far the best piece you made in my opinion... Really nice, looks very realistic... could you teach me that?
Besides the matter of resemblance with the reference, there's some awesome dithering work and nice colors+composition! Eyes look great, very expressive, and I'm much of a fan of this hair too. And the pixel piece does match the model's cuteness^^
