New avatar... :: Pixel Art Detail

Frightening animation? What do you mean by frightening? Like, a scare? I don't know, I mean with just a single animated image and no other context, sound or anything, its hard to imagine how I could really "scare" anyone. Creeping or grossing out is pretty much the only thing single images or animations can do there...

Man the animation on this is very well done. The following comment is just a suggestion; I noticed that all the themes within this work are "kinda-gross-and-scary-but-not-really"... I'd love to see you produce some truly frightening animation.

Very cool.  The rabid-looking one is my favorite, even though the nose moves oddly :)

Edit: Woah, I had no idea that the pixelplayer lets me see the individual frames of animation.  Pixeljoint really is an awesome place for pixel art.  I'm glad I read the comments on this page.

Yeah I should have guessed that from the start about the pumpkin being the hardest. It makes sense that the shortest part of an animation was the hardest for an artist to get right.

Actually the zombie head turn was pretty easy to do... I just shifted parts of the face sideways, and then corrected the mess it makes and the shading. I made parts that stick out more shift a little more than the rest (like the tip of the nose for example), so it does that neat 3d effect... but really, it didnt take much more than like 30 minutes to animate that zombie. The longest part to animate was the pumpkin, it took more than an hour.

Watched this about 10 minutes!!!! Boy, I usually don't look
that long at a masterpiece in a museum :) 6 out of 6 + Fav!

Great. Most of them are very cool i like them a lot. The tree between the windy sepia one and the purple alien are fun, its a shame that we cant see them well in the animation...
The preview will kill some epileptic guys by the way.

Not only is the animation worked through - the pixeling on each of the characters is amazing... and it all adds up to 64 colors! I havent been so impressed with a pixel piece for a loooong time!

Heh, now this rocks! The zombie is probably the best; it's got a tone of depth to it.

Only thing I think you could mess with would be that odd fellow with the tubes coming out of him. The parts on his face seem to lack the depth all the other heads have.

Also, since our jaws are on a hinge, I think the skull's jaw should swing back instead of down.

But those are pretty minor qualms considering the top notice quality the rest has! :)
