I do not know much on this technique, for that reason, I have problems with the count of the colors, is possible that it has not colored all the pixels of the original one that had 5000 colors... this work is mine... i'm illustrator, and i want to work in videogame company in barcelona spain, for that reason i'm doing this pieces... thank's for your comments, soon new pieces!...

I've just checked the colour count. 150 is not wrong. I colour-replaced using the sample colours to the right and this is what I ended up with: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y291/flarfy/NOW.png

Apparently there are lots of colours which is just a little off and only used in a couple of pixels. Wonder what went wrong?

No crits on the linework, it's very nice But the colouring somehow could use some improvement... I wouldn't have dithered the skin, it makes it look too grainy... You may want the highlights on the coat/jacket and boots a bit darker. The hair hasn't got any highlights, although it might look nice, and in the darker spots of for example her trousers, you added wrinckles, which you probably wouldn't see on photos etc, and you seem to use dark outlining, which I would also remove.

I Hope I don't sound like a grumpy old man looking for things that could have been better... Cause the piece looks really nice But I think that if you improve on the colouring a bit, that it just gives the piece the finished edge that seperate the good from the amazing pieces.

It is very weird that the color count is 150, though, according to several programs (including my own). I apologize if everyone is falsely accusing you.

Vital: Converting to PNG should never change the color count. Converting to GIF may reduce the color count, and converting to JPEG will probably increase it, though.

Nice piece. I'm not sure why you changed the head, but I think the original one was better. This looks a bit too big (this doesn't really fit) and the former was way more sexy. Its also seems a bit blurry compared to the body (which is great). I like the highlights of the coat and the boots the best. It's sad that there's no way to see pieces that need revision because I'd really love to see the other full one.

I think that existing gallery proves that it is all original. And I don't care about colour count becaurse pixel techniques are apparent and it means more to call this pixelart than some restrictions. Work in progress pictures would be interesting to see, but only because WIPs are always interesting to see.

Using the human, eye; I would say about 38 is right. I'm not sure though. You've only submitted 3 pieces total. The first one being very similar to this with apparently 5000 colors. But for cases like this, I think a WIP is needed.

So please supply a WIP.

I think you ripped this from somewhere and looked main colors -> 38 and then added to PJ. you should know how much colors is in your pic if you post the amount of em.

Well, I took a little closer look on the picture and both mtPaint and Gimp show around 150 colors, not 38!!! What does this mean?
