Well here is my contest entry! It is a mockup of mario party, but sadly I could not fit wario onto the small canvas. (I really had to squeeze the palette to make this in 28 colours) http://cube.ign.com/objects/566/566725.html <-- if someone doesn't know what mario party is... here's a link. I made waluigi the winner because #1 I always play as waluigi and keep winning with the AI on hardest, #2 everyone hates waluigi so I like to... how you say "promote" him. If anyone wants to race me on mario kart DS (or for the upcomming mario kart for the wii) just PM me. I might get mario strikers charged soon too.

Mockup-shmockup, they are all the same to me. It is mocking mario party (hence the characters and flashy text) So to say it WASN'T mocking mario wouldn't make sense.

Love it or hate it, it's waluigi and friends. I don't have all my time to spend on these things. Besides, I'm busy beating people at mario kart DS as waluigi... It's annoying when people disconnect though I'm just too good

Wins what? Usually we see a scene where the other two players are punushed somehow according to the minigame, but here is just 2 sad men and one happy one in a empty world.

Anyway you should have done a scene where they were playing a minigame instead, because as Met said its not a mockup. And have it about 60% smaller. At this size things can become disproportional.

Take it to the WIP forum next time. It helps!

BTW: Mario Land is NOT empty. lol

I don't think this fits as a mockup, technicallly. its more of a remake of an ingame cutscene rather than a mockup.
