My entry to the weekly challenge. I decided to do Metroid because I really liked it, as well as the fact that I can recall details of that game easily. I really enjoyed making this, and I learned a lot about color saving/recycling. Here's the official site for Metroid Prime Hunters, and I looked at the images on that site, as well as the backgrounds on my DS for refs.
