want to add some "holy glow" when the cover is approching him, so it looks like he's close to "salvation". but I'm stuck. I thought of yellow cartoonish stripes as light. any suggestions?

I really like this, but the smiling bit is awful! All of the features up until then are shaped so that they look smooth and clean without any antialiasing, and then BAM, a cheesy anime grin and three big glaring jagged curves.

Just my two cents.
