For the cutscene challenge again! I wanted to do something with full colour and somehow I ended up doing a basically monochromatic scene anyway. 12 colours this time. The scene is from the movie Alien (1979). Not a very iconic scene from the movie, but I found the planet's surface, which is only briefly visited, to be awesome. This piece catches the mood of the original perfectly. And the scene is of course iconic. The ship design is something never seen bevore in cinema, and the atmosphere just added to the scene. Very well crafted by you!

That is a gorgeous sky.
I feel I can learn from you, and this piece for a new texture. Im always looking, and you have really captured something new and intrigueing.

the cliffs could use a few harsher shadows thrown about it, comparing to the reference... not a fan of the 50% dither on the stones/cliffs. Looking at the sky, Im sure you could have developed a much stronger and effective texture for the rocks.

Great sky again.
I plan to reference this when looking for a new intrigguing texture
