I think it is time to loose iso virginity.=) Inspired in some way by Jal's piece. Killed over 40 hours, a little rushed on the end - it appeared to be pretty annoying, just as i suspected.=)
Here's WIP ( careful, 3 mb, gif=)
PJ EDIT: Dead Link
I never see some like this, until now
The king of texture
There are just so many great tiny little details squeezed into this. It's wild how legible the people are at such tiny resolutions. A masterpiece of a scene.
Very detailed painting, just masterful...
Really good, i'm speechless
The level of detail is incredible, and the isometric 3D spot on... well done!
Hey Aberoth on Steam looks like they are using you're work without you're permmision
wow, so big and looks like real one
Very nice. did you make this for the game aberoth on steam? as they are usining it for there game art.
only 40 hours that's crazy
Incredible. How could you learn to do something like that?
that is just amazing
Breath taking. +fav
this is some sweet looking castle : DD
I admire the 40 hours work you put on it ^^
also, I have a really hard time believing that this only took 40 hours, this looks like it took hundreds!
definitely one of the best pieces on pixel joint!, good job!, also, I love the water! I dont know why but I find the water just so cool to look at! It is really well shaped and connects to the rest of the piece really well!
This is the greatest thing I've ever seen! Everytime they say that pixelart is not actually art - I show them your masterpiece.
Fantastic work. Beautiful structure, love the water, also has great lighting. I feel like this belongs in a big picture book.
Amazing work and awesome color palette!
I like it.
This is incredible, love isometric art.
So detailed... Great!
What an amazing picture..WOW!
Love it, has a very epic feeling.
Age of Empires Nostalgia thanks for this
thanks for this.
That's nice of you. Just didn't want for someone to have taken it without you knowing!
I has nothing to do with a game. They asked for permission to use an image, i said yes and thats about it.=)
The game's devlog does show that fool gave permission to use the image.
We have let fool know about this just in case.
I logged in to ask the exact same thing. I'm guessing the answer is no, comparing the ingame art to the cover image http://store.steampowered.com/app/354200/ could be wrong though!
I noticed that this piece is used as the Steam art for the game Aberoth. Did you work on that game at all?
Hey, I haven't logged on in forever, but I wanted to comment to ask/let you know if you know that some browser MMO is using this picture as their "cover picture" or whatever. Look up Aberoth on Steam.
Wow. I'm trying to come up with some adjectives, but I don't think anything says more than just "wow."
you did that in 40 hours?
God, I couldn't make it look half that good in 80 hours!
Woooooow :o i wanna make like that too :o too amazing
This is wow.. The detail.
This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life
Probably my favourite ever.
my favorite piece so far ! very well and nice-detailed atmosphere !
