I just had the urge to draw a dancer of some sort, and I've always liked the look of belly dancers.  I like the colors I choose :3  C&C please!  If she can be improved, I'd like to do that.

I think I may have gone overboard with dithering =\

EDIT: I changed some things based on the comments I got, but I left the preview the same so you can see the difference :3

You might want to explore the contrast issues between the gold and flesh tones. On first glance, the jewelry looks like strange lumps on the skin.

M.E.: Thanks for pointing all that out to me.  I fixed the breasts, because that was even obvious to me.  It looks much better now.  I actually like the eyes a little higher like that =/ I think I'm just weird though.  Thank you for the in depth crit and the compliment :3

PixelSpy: Thanks for the comment.  Why does the dithering on the skin tone bother you?  :3  If you can tell me in detail, I'll try to fix it.  Thanks again!

Salvage: Ok, I can see what you mean, and I fixed it up a bit.  I think you were right about it; it looks much better now.  Thank you!

Good work on the dress and the fan...the dithering on the fleshtones sort of bug me though. Otherwise good job

She is pretty. Agreed, tho, the facial volumes could use a slight tweak, maybe take some of the bulk out of her left cheek? I realize there is stylistic prerogative, but maybe consider darker outlines like you did near her armpit.

Proportion-wise there are some things you can change.
Eyes are about half way in the head. Since the rest looks
pretty ok, I would make the eyes smaller and lower.
Also move the breast a bit down. There should be about
a head-length below the actual head to get to the
end of the breasts ("about one head" since there are different sized
proportions around :) )
I compliment you on the hands. They are really nicely done!

You did go a bit overboard with the dithering. She looks fuzzy. Other than that it's great, keep up the good work.
