I used a lot of colors for this but I'm just so used to having 4 colors for each material. Plus this time I used faded outlines. It's not great but how can I get better without practice right?

Since it's a sword, I'd suggest making the blade longer.
The texture doesn't really come off as metal. You might want to look up some images on Google to get a solid reference, and definitely get rid of that "dither."
