Great work, have nothing to add really. I don't think the dithering is out of place. Suits well imo.

Really nice! I love the texture of the fur :3 The only thing I can say is that it's missing the outline frame =/ I've already seen Jal bug someone about that.

Thanks for the positive comment so far. Adam, nice edit, it has more detail to it and looks more interesting... 
And Mandarb, about the preview... For me the preview image is a piece of art by itself, and kinf od a challenge. It should give a sneak-preview of the image, but not yet reveal it. I also always try to put some graphic styling in there...

I really like the final result ... A very interesting interpretation of the subject.As for the preview ... I've never really understood why some put things in the preview that don't represent the image we'll be looking at when we click it. Is there a specific reason why this is done? (this preview at least has the basic shape)

Looks really great! The only thing not working for me is the dithering. I thing this is a piece that would gain a lot by a bit more creative dithering. I actually liked the non-dithered step better. Also some mixture of the two ramps would be nice. You could easily merge at least the two lightest shades for a bit more interesting effect.

Anyway a superb job, I also like what you did with the preview.

i quite like the idea to have the base and the final as the first two frames of the animation, followed by the steps.. could imagine to adopt that idea in standart pieces in the gallery as well. tops.
