I feel like I should apologize for this one. It was a real quickie, inspired a bit by Mykola's stuff. Forced myself to AA and use bright colors. Probably a couple hours of idle time went into this. Which is far less than I put into most stuff.
I guess it's supposed to be a futuristic city of some sort being overtaken by giant tubes or wires growing out of the big building on the right.
Edit: Changed it a bit. I don't know... the transparent part probably takes away from the rest of the image. Comments?

I was fine with the large amount of white, it's just the boxynesss of it that was boring. But it looks cooler now, don't you think? You might even want to try putting more white space in between the outside borders and inside swirls - I agree that the city foreground will have.. more of an impact (for lack of better words) with more space..
Yea just play around, I'm not forcing you to change anything hehe :)
The large amount of white is intentional. I tried cutting it out, and just didn't like the looks of it. The city foreground seemed like it had nothing to it.
I can try the shaping thing you mentioned though. I'll also go in and fool with the value for the light pink. Have it reposted in a jiffy.
And by that I mean I'd like to see the lightest pink a wittle lighter.
But otherwise this is a cool piece. Very clean, and it looks hip. Though it'd be a bit more interesting if you had the white end in some sort of cool shape/lines on the outside as well, and then the boxy part was made transparent - this would probably require you to make the canvas bigger - just cause the edge atm looks boring.
