This was actually my first mockup. I kind of just forgot to submit it :p
This stage takes place just after Momotaro leaves his village. He doesn't have any animals with him because Momotaro needs to rescue them first. (First animal who joins is Monkey)
Keep in mind that this was the first mockup for this game I made. It might or might not use a gradient in the final product. I am going to do what looks best.
Did you pixel that sky gradient by hand? If so, BIG credit for you! That's soooo smooth! If it's not pixeled by hand just fair warning ... you'll probably receive a flood of complaints about it!)
I dig the style this has ... simplistic, yet elegant. Well done!
