I really like how his barrel wobbles around, kind of like a little nose. He reminds me of an upgraded version of the Blaster Master tank (which was a cool tank, itself). Lots of attitude to this. (:
Aww, that's sad to hear (about the game being cancelled), it seemed to be going so well and your sprites were all good. Anyway maybe someday you'll get back to it, no need to rush anything. (And sorry for the late response.)
Adarias, i'm not sure what you mean by hybridizing the greater scale animations with the subtle ones. I can see how you think it's stiff though, I've thought about going really crazy and overdoing every movement but i doubted it would work or look right. Does the stiffness not work even though it's a heavy robot?
Sorry Dennis, the game development was stopped a while ago because i wasn't experienced enough, i was changing the design and i think i was generally rushing into it. Atm i'm just trying to complete a few sprites and concepts simply for fun, maybe one day i'll get more serious with it. Yeah i'd imagine it'd be freeware. :P

subpixel animation is a super step up but the overall animation is stiff. i think you need to hybridize your greater-scale animation with the subtle ones for full effect.
