You can't say low poly isn't pixelart at all, not in this instance anyway. You could use an npa skin, of course, but done in this manner it's obviously related to pixelart, though far from pure. I doubt A new section would be made, that'd require a lot of overhauling, but submitting the skin and linking to the poly, as you've done, should be acceptable.
well I guess it could be accepted now...definitely an interesting piece on its own if you didn't know it was a texture...anyway I'm voting for it to be accepted
"Low Poly" is not pixel art at all. So there is no reason to have a section for it. There are websites dedicated to 3d art, go find them. This is strictly "pixel art" hence the name Pixel Joint.
oh please, pretty please, do a low poly pixel art section then. with its own rules, i got inspired by Kenneth Fejer (or was it Jefer?) pixel low poly art.

Yeah, we probably can't accept this here. I like it, though.
I'm pretty sure we don't accept this sort, though I personally find it interesting. It really does belong in its own separate category. I've always wanted to try lowpoly.
Which program do you use? I want to start doing low-poly all the time. This particular model reminded me of Fighting Force and SiN. At the same time PJ has problems with allowing ANSI and other pixelart related graphics to maintain it's topic, so I think it will not fit in gallery. The problem could be resolved with inclusion of low-poly joint, but I doubt it would be as lively as PJ, becaurse 3d-modelling is a lot harder to enter than pixelling.
